How to use a bytecode generated from an API to start a test run
I have an application that is being redesigned and I have to use an existing one to do so. The old system uses a really old version of the library being used in that application. So I have to port that application to a newer one. There is a HUGE difference between the API used to control the old application and the API used to control the new one.
Basically I have the bytecode of the old application and I know it runs correctly. I have also written a small program that is very similar to the old one and runs without errors. The problem is that I am supposed to control the execution of that code with the new API.
I don’t know how to do that in JUnit and I don’t know how to generate the bytecode from the API.
Also this is the first time that I am doing anything regarding unit testing.
